Þ Bankruptcy - You will need:
1 to fill out our office’s [bankruptcy worksheet]
2 take the Court required Credit Counseling Courses for Northern District of Ohio:
3 provide me the Income information required under the new law:
a. I will need to know all of your income actually received within the six months prior to the bankruptcy (ending with the month prior to the month in which you will file), eg. if you plan to file in December and you work 1 job, I will need the last pay stubs for May and November to calculate your income, If you cashed in an IRA or 401k during this period, I will need these details as well. If you have rental property I will need gross receipts minus expenses actually paid during the same 6 month period. Please itemized income and expenses by source. The date you will file will be determined after an extensive consultation in the office
b. I will need copies of the pay stubs received during the 60 days prior to your filing date. Sometimes you pay have to supplement pay stubs until your case is actually filed.
c. Copy of the tax return for the year prior to filing. Please inform me if you plan to get a large tax refund for the year that follows your bankruptcy filing. If you have an extension, I will need the last tax year for which you filed.
